Backbar
Out of Business
Description
A speakeasy-ish nightspot that harkens back to the edgier Chelsea nightlife scene of a decade ago, Backbar is housed inside an old storage space, but don’t expect a cold, industrial scene after you enter through the unmarked front door—this spot is all about leather banquettes, inventive lighting design and a hint of a garden nook as the setting in which to enjoy with your artisanally crafted cocktail.
