Barrio BX
Description
Barrio BX is a Puerto Rican restaurant in the Bronx dedicated to honoring the island’s cuisine, culture, and revolutionary spirit. Guests often describe it as a home away from home, praising the food, music, and hospitality for capturing the heart of Puerto Rican tradition with Bronx soul and serving as a true reflection of the Nuyorican experience. The space doubles as a living gallery, filled with murals and artifacts that celebrate Puerto Rican resistance, pride, and community, both on the walls and through live events. With over 24,000 followers on Instagram and a loyal local following, Barrio BX is a cultural touchstone built by and for the people it represents. The weekly event lineup is posted every Monday on Instagram. Seating is first come, first served.
