This charmingly named long-running animal shelter—Bideawee is a Scottish phrase meaning "stay awhile"—serves up a full range of services for cats and dogs and the people who love them. Bideawee adoption counselors guide prospective owners through the process, and their veterinary services, which are open to the public, provide high-quality care. After adoption, the Bideawee Learning Centers offer educational programs designed to help strengthen the bond between animal and owner.
