Explore the real New York with a local. Big Apple Greeter volunteers show visitors their favorite corners of NYC, sharing the culture, stories, and everyday moments that bring communities to life. Each 2-to-4-hour walk is unscripted and tailored to visitors' interests, giving them a genuine look at NYC through a local's eyes, free of charge. Discover hidden gems, neighborhood favorites, and what makes people fall in love with the City. Greeters host up to six people traveling together and can accommodate visits in 15 languages. Requests should be submitted through their website at least 10 days prior to arrival.
