Description
This Brooklyn monastery was founded in 1855, dedicating itself to celebrating the "pure glory of God." In addition to the monastery's commitment to a life of prayer, service and building a sense of community, they also offer something unique: weekend retreats where visitors can come and learn about the "monastic life." The space also houses an elementary school for girls from nursery school to 8th grade.
