The aroma grabs you before you even see the small storefront—the scent of chocolate and brown sugar. Inside, the counter is crammed with muffin-sized cookies too big for any glass of milk. The five-ounce miracles come in some 25 inventive flavors—butterscotch toffee, key lime pie, hot fudge sundae, peppermint chocolate (with crushed candy canes) and old standbys like chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin—all made fresh in the on-site bakery.
