El Malecon
Description
This longtime uptown Dominican restaurant is a neighborhood favorite, not just for its food, but for its late hours (it’s open until midnight). Serving up such authentic Latin cuisine as mofongo, mondongo and delicious tropical fruit shakes, the eatery is perhaps best known for its juicy and flavorful pollo al carbon. For breakfast, try the mangu—sweet green plantains.
