Gowanus Yacht Club
Description
No, it’s not a real yacht club. In fact, it’s the complete opposite of a refined, stuffy place for the wealthy to socialize. The name is meant to be ironic, but the beer and hot dogs they serve do make it a great summertime hangout. The no-frills outdoor space is a fun place to meet up with friends and enjoy some cheap alcohol and food. It’s like being in your own backyard in Brooklyn—if you had one.
