Gourmands love this Bleecker Street cheese heaven, one of the City’s oldest and best. Walk in and you’re bowled over—and we mean that as a compliment—by the scent of hundreds of cheeses broken down into seven different types: bloomy, blue, firm and robust, fresh, hard, semi-soft and washed-rind. There are even classes for those wanting to learn more. Somewhere, the late Murray Greenberg, who started Murray’s as a butter and egg shop in 1940, is smiling—and munching on a piece of stinky gorgonzola.
