Blue corn tacos with pork cheek carnitas, avocado-tomatillo salsa and crunchy bites of chicharrón signal this is no typical Mexican restaurant. Most dishes are wood-grilled, including charred carrot tamal with green hoja santa mole and branzino coated in mole amarillo. Oxomoco inhabits a lovely pale-hued space with skylights and cascading vines that create an alfresco effect. There’s also an outdoor front patio and an impressive selection of fine tequila and mezcal.
