Ralph Lauren’s men’s store, the brand’s first New York City flagship, sits inside a stately 19th-century mansion modeled after a French chateau, which before the brand obtained a lease for the property 35 years ago had fallen into disrepair. Dripping with historic details lovingly restored, including elaborately carved wood columns and vaulted ceilings, it’s the perfect backdrop to a label that prides itself on American luxury.
