Remix Market
Description
Secondhand shop Remix Market is a win-win for the Queens community. Excited new buyers take home previously loved items that they purchased at discount prices while keeping a considerable amount of material out of landfills. Daily truckloads drop off goodies like home goods, furnishings and art. Bonus: Remix donates half of its inventory to local nonprofits and 10 percent of proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity. If you’re in the market for some new (old) furniture or decor, be sure to check out Remix for great finds and to support a worthwhile cause.
