Description
New York City is the pizza capital of the world, so a vegan-cheese pizza shop here had better get it right. Screamer’s, a collaboration between the vegan veterans behind Champs Diner and Philly’s Blackbird Pizzeria, is up to the challenge. The owners intended to create an authentic New York City slice shop that happens to be vegan. Options include a vegan cheese pizza (a white pie with broccoli rabe and onions) and “The Screamer” (garlic oil, mushrooms and almond parmesan).
