Description
She Was Here is a walking tour focused on women's history in Midtown Manhattan. The tour begins at 51st Street and Sixth Avenue and ends at the Women Pioneers Statue in Central Park, covering approximately 1.5 to 2 miles on flat terrain with seating available along the route. Stories of historically overlooked women are shared using their own diaries, letters and testimony. Public tours (Saturdays and Sundays) start at $50 per person; private tours start at $300.
