Smalls Jazz Club
Description
Don't be surprised if it's standing room only at this West Village juke joint—the room is small, the booze is flowing and the music is loud, and people come from all five boroughs to get in on the action. Known as a place where City musicians jam from 1am to 4am on Sundays, the place has plenty of street cred and specializes in showcasing stars-on-the-rise as well as jazz greats. Check Smalls' website for audio recordings and the impressive, ever-rotating live performance schedule.
