Teitel Brothers Wholesale Grocery Company
Description
Want to start your own Italian restaurant? Here's the first place you should shop. Operated by the same family for nearly a century, Teitel Brothers is not only a popular stop for New Yorkers and visitors who want breads, beans, olives and cheeses, but it's also a go-to for restaurants around the country seeking those ingredients for their own dishes. And even if you have second thoughts about opening that bistro, it's worth stopping here for the fresh, tasty fare, not to mention friendly owners who love to talk about the history of both their shop and the neighborhood.
