Description
Home of the celebrated Pretzel Croissant—there's even a website devoted to the wildly addictive snack—The City Bakery, a must-stop off Union Square, offers more than just the salty-meets-sweet treat. The goodies here are supertasty—especially the delightfully viscous hot chocolate, which is featured in tons of imaginative iterations at The City Bakery's Hot Chocolate Festival every February. Looking for "real" food? The soups, salads, sandwiches and, of course, freshly baked bread are satisfying and savory fare.
