The Plaza at 300 Ashland
Description
Located at the intersection of the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Park Slope, Fort Greene and Boerum Hill, this large plaza is at the hub of the Brooklyn Cultural District—hosting programs from some of the area’s greatest local arts organizations. In addition to fitness classes taking place in the plaza, expect performances from groups like BAM, BRIC Arts Media, Mark Morris Dance Group, and special events like fall’s Downtown Brooklyn Arts Festival. Surrounding the plaza are apartments and retail stores, providing shopping options as well.
