As well known for its wide selection as its loveable curmudgeon of an owner, this East Village shop is worth a visit if you're in the market for any variety of fuzzy footwear. Men's and women's socks, pantyhose, tights, fishnets, leg warmers, thigh highs and more: if it falls under the category of innerwear for your feet and legs, you'll find it here, and in as many colors and styles as you can imagine. What's more, it's hard to beat the prices, which are far lower than those in nearby boutiques or other specialty stores.
