Tip Top came into existence four decades ago as a secret after-hours spot. Even though it went legit years ago, hints of its origins still linger. The dive's lack of a set menu (you can find out what's on the grill by asking the bartender), cast of regulars, jukebox filled with classic soul and speakeasy-style door policy (you may have to knock to get in) are all just part of the flavor.
