Through the brick archways of VHH Foods, there’s a stunning view of the Manhattan Bridge and East River. This all-day Brooklyn café, an offshoot of the popular Vinegar Hill House nearby, starts mornings off right with chocolate and smoked ricotta bread and eggy tacos. At lunch there are Meat Hook hot dogs and seasonal vegetable medleys. Their picnic-style to-go meals, like whole smoked chicken with pull-apart rolls, are ideal for toting to Brooklyn Bridge Park.
