XploreRide
Description
Put on an extended reality headset and the real streets of Manhattan become the stage. Guided by Liberty, the Spirit of the Statue of Liberty, guests travel from the 1880s to Times Square, through a world where past and present intersect, discovering the stories, culture, and spirit that have shaped New York City—all in 45 minutes, from the top deck of a double-decker bus. Extended reality adds digital visuals to the real world instead of replacing it. Guests still see the actual streets of New York while scenes and stories appear through the headset. Powered by immersive XR technology, XploreRide transforms sightseeing into an interactive adventure where the real world and digital storytelling become one.
