New York City (September 4, 2025) – As New York City marks its 400th anniversary, NYC Tourism + Conventions has announced a broad slate of events to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month 2025, spotlighting the historic influence of Latino and Hispanic communities on the City’s evolution.
The monthlong initiative, which runs from September 15 through October 15, will feature performances, culinary activations, art exhibitions and cultural programs across the five boroughs. Organizers say the goal is to recognize the long-standing contributions of Hispanic communities while inviting both residents and visitors to engage with the City’s contemporary Latino culture.
“As New York City celebrates 400 years of history, Hispanic Heritage Month gives us an extraordinary opportunity to recognize the profound impact that Latino and Hispanic communities have had—and continue to have—on the life and spirit of our city,” said Julie Coker, president and CEO of NYC Tourism + Conventions. “New York would not be the global, vibrant destination it is today without the contributions of our diverse community. We’re honored to welcome residents and visitors to join us in celebrating this important legacy through an exciting calendar of events across the five boroughs.”
