New York City (May 15, 2025) – New York City Tourism + Conventions today announced Karate Kid x New York City, a content collaboration to promote the new installment of Sony Pictures’ beloved Karate Kid franchise, Karate Kid: Legends, which is set in New York City. The initiative provides fans with ways to explore the five boroughs featured in Karate Kid: Legends through locations connected to the film.

Karate Kid: Legends unites the iconic martial arts masters of one of the most beloved film franchises of all time to tell a completely new story full of action and heart. When kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) relocates to New York City with his mother to attend a prestigious new school, he finds solace in a new friendship with a classmate and her father.
