New York New Jersey will host the World Cup final, along with other matches. Here's how to get involved.
New York New Jersey will host eight matches at New York New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium) during FIFA World Cup 26™, including the final on July 19, 2026. In terms of scale, the tournament will be the biggest sporting event ever held: three host countries, 16 host cities, 48 teams and 104 matches across 39 days. According to the New York New Jersey Host Committee, the games are expected to support over 14,000 jobs, generate over $2 billion in economic impact and draw more than one million visitors to the region, roughly half of whom will be non-ticket holders.
