A reimbursement program for meeting and event planners that choose to host their program in NYC.

The NYC Meetings Fund is dedicated to helping business events become a success—this may include conferences, trade shows or corporate events that are deemed eligible.
The program offers a rebate for hosts that choose to present their business event within the five boroughs. Eligible events must deliver at least 50 room nights and incur at least $25,000 in eligible hard costs to apply.
Possible reimbursement amounts are $12,500 – $50,000.
Eligible events taking place in Manhattan can receive 50% of hard costs.*
Eligible events taking place in other boroughs (the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, or Staten Island) can receive 100% rebate (up to $50,000).

Business events may include, but are not limited to, meetings, conferences, events, business gatherings, conventions, exhibitions, trade shows, consumer shows or other events approved by New York City Tourism + Conventions.
Have an applicant be the primary organizer, host or planner
Be hosted in New York City, within any of its boroughs
Be new business, or an event that hasn’t been booked in NYC since March 1, 2020
Generate at least 50 room nights
Have total eligible hard costs of at least $25,000
Meet any additional criteria established by New York City Tourism + Conventions
Food/Beverage: meals, beverages (excluding alcoholic beverages), service labor fees
Audiovisual Support: microphones, screens/projectors, other specialized equipment, internet access, service labor fees
The event must take place between August 1, 2023, and August 31, 2024.
Applications will not be accepted after December 31, 2023.
If you pass the initial screening, we will contact you to submit any required evidence, which can include:
Eligible costs: submission of a valid payment receipt or sufficient proof of payment (as determined by New York City Tourism + Conventions) that is documented or signed by the venue, hotel and/or other vendors.
Room requirement: submission of a valid receipt or sufficient proof of payment (as determined by New York City Tourism + Conventions) documented by the hotel.
The event must be completed for the grant funds to be reimbursed. Once complete, and with all event costs confirmed and appropriate documentation submitted, New York City Tourism + Conventions will determine the eligibility of the submitted event. Reimbursement amounts will be sent to the eligible recipient once this process is completed.
